Press photography Essex
Today’s photoshoot was a Press photography-based project here in Essex. I photographed Jasmine who is an apprentice at Redrow Construction, based at a site called The Mulberries in Witham, Essex. I was originally contacted by DRP group, which is the company that helps Redrow create its Press campaigns, and it was explained to me that Jasmine was soon to be featured in a magazine after the great success of her apprenticeship. They asked me to visit the site and photograph Jasmine both busy completing her day-to-day tasks as well as some formal headshots within the site for their upcoming press release.
Arriving on site I was greeted by Jasmine at the site office and she walked me over to the plots that she was currently working on. The 2 houses you can see in the background of the photo above, she actually worked on their roofs. She’s much braver than me! She was also currently fitting skirting in the bedrooms, using the big circular saw and the nail gun too! Don’t worry, all the power tools were switched off whilst we completed the posed photos! We didn’t want any accidents.
I captured 25 photos in total during the 30-minute press photo shoot to provide the client, and as you can see from the 4 images that I have shared, it was a variation of posed and natural images. Hopefully, it gives them a good selection of photographs to use for Jasmine’s upcoming press release.
