A Stunning Monochrome Kitchen by Hutton Kitchens – West Mersea

Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautifully designed kitchen by Hutton Kitchens in West Mersea. This particular project was a striking monochrome design, effortlessly blending modern elegance with practicality. The kitchen, part of an open-plan layout, connects seamlessly to the dining and living areas, making it a true hub of the home.

What immediately stood out was the clean, sharp contrast between the black and white elements. The sleek cabinetry, finished in a pristine white, was perfectly balanced by matte black countertops and fixtures. This minimalist aesthetic extended across the entire space, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere.

One of the most impressive aspects of this kitchen is how it opens up to the outside world. Large sliding doors lead to stunning views of the estuary, offering a picturesque backdrop of West Mersea’s beautiful waters. The natural light that floods into the space through these doors enhances the kitchen’s crisp monochrome palette, giving it an almost ethereal quality.
